It was very smooth

It was very smooth. He thought it might be the compressor but i was pretty sure it wasnt since the fan wasnt working either. He properly tested for compressor function and narrowed it down to the capacitor.

Work done: Abate old furnace vent pipe. Replace with new vent that meets today's mechanical code.

I called Air-Tro on Friday afternoon, 10-22-10, to set up an appointment to have our furnace checked, since it was turning on, the flame would light, then shut off after 5 seconds. Work done: I would set our furnace to come on, the flame would come on and then 5 seconds later would shut off. Mike L. came to inspect, ran diagnostic tests, cleaned the flame sensor several times, then stated it was the circuit board and we needed to replace it.
