Pasadena Historic Building HVAC Maintenance: Taking Care of the 100-Year-Old Tournament House
Historic Buildings and Regular AC Service
The stately Italian Renaissance-style mansion, designed by architect George Lawrence Stimson, was once owned by William Wrigley, Jr., the chewing gum magnate.
In 1958, the property was donated to the City of Pasadena and became the permanent base of operations for the Tournament of Roses.
David Eads, Executive Director / CEO of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses shares his experience working with Air-Tro.
“Today, we’re here at the Tournament house, formally known as the Wrigley Mansion, located in Pasadena, California.
Here at the Tournament house – which is a hundred years old – our air conditioning units need regular service. We work with Air-Tro on a regular maintenance schedule.
They’re very conscientious of the historic nature of our building. They are very communicative in what the issues might be and identifying the problems.
If we do need to schedule repair, they’re always very timely. Usually within 48 hours.
The Tournament’s been working with Air-Tro for more than 25 years. And what really brings us back every time is they have very competitive rates, their service has been excellent, and the work that they do takes care of any challenges that we might have with our units.
I would definitely recommend Air-Tro. They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and competitive in their pricing. They show up, they do great work and they’ve been a terrific partner for the Tournament of Roses.”
